I am a USCF certified chess coach with over 20 years experience teaching children of all ages. I am a firm believer that chess has many benefits that go far beyond the game itself... helping children reach their highest potential in life...whatever they may pursue. I know how to make chess fun to learn so that kids are motivated to give their best. I look forward to working with you soon!
Club Mission Statement
Alec’s Chess Club exists to help children reach their highest potential through the game of chess. This objective is achieved in three primary ways:
• Inspiring lessons
• Challenging tournaments
• Compassionate mentoring
Through these methods, each child will learn fundamental life skills that are transferable to anything they pursue. Alec’s Chess Club is especially committed to helping children who are not financially able to participate. The club’s mission is that every child that wants the many benefits of chess instruction will be able to receive them.
